Oxford and Cherwell Valley College

Oxford & Cherwell Valley College is a multi-campus college in Oxfordshire, England. It was created in 2003 as "Oxford & Cherwell College" - a result of the merger between Oxford College of Further Education, North Oxfordshire College and Ryecotewood College. It changed to its current name in 2005 due to the new opening of the Bicester campus.
The campuses are located as follows:
- Oxpens Road, Oxford
- Broughton Road, Banbury
- Cuddesdon Way, Blackbird Leys, Oxford
- Telford Road, Bicester
The college caters for students studying a very wide variety of subjects, and at many different ages. Much of the provision is further education, but the college also provides higher education (in partnership with De Montfort University, Oxford Brookes University, University of Derby and University of Bedfordshire), modern apprenticeships, community evening classes and it offers a course for foreign students (I.S.P.: International Study Programme).
Courses available at the College span a large choice of Academic and Vocational programmes in the following Curriculum Areas:
Art & Design, A Levels / GCSEs / Access to HE, Business and Management, Information Technology and Computing, Care Health and ChildCare, Construction and Technology, Engineering and Motorsports, Hair Beauty and Therapies, Motor Vehicle, Media Performing Arts and Dance, Public Services and Sport, Science, Travel & Tourism, Foundation Studies ( incorporating New Directions and Stepping Stones).
In the academic year 2005/2006, the college attracted a total of nearly 4,000 full-time students, as well as over 12,000 part-time students.
